Where is the leak coming from? The return line that goes to the top of the reservoir?

gt3 is not a track car.
gt3 is a track ready car.
simply b/c it's a track ready car doesn't mean it wont break on track.
a cup car is track ready.
it's not warrantied.
so logic would imply that GT3 street car used on track not be covered by warranty.
of course, i am just playing devils advocate.
i wish you luck in getting warranty.
be mindful of info you give out.

+1.

Try flogging most any other marque on the track and see how their manufacturer behaves as well as how it holds up compared to the Porsche.

Then build your own race car with careful consideration given to each and every mechanical aspect, track it a season and tell me how you make out.

It's like the USA -- ain't nothing better.

change your dealer.
unfortunately a lot of issues like that are dealer dependent. real big issues with DE or track damage are related to engine replacements where dealer has to ship whole engine and DME to PCNA for inspection, all the rest are up to local service manager to approve.
some dealers like to milk their customers and claim track damage to lightbulbs that burn out.
only way to deal with that is to change your dealer or stop using warranty services

Guys,
The integrity that my dealer has is remarkable. They have earned my respect and my business for long time. They are investing a lot of time and money to make sure Porsche understand my case as they also believe is not fair.

In the past, my dealer PAID for some expensive repairs that Porsche North America did not cover even when the car is under warranty. It will be hard to find a better dealer and a better service manager in the country. They are just honest people and they have integrity, they should not lie to Porsche North America to make them pay for something they should pay.

We do not have too many people like the people working on my dealer around anymore, specially the service manager, so I support this dealer and all of us locally support this dealer. They are out of the chart. The problem is Porsche North America, not the dealer.

It seems like PCNA is reopening my case. I'll keep you posted.

Cheers

ok, one more time, only things dealer has to disclose to PCNA are issues related to complete warranty replacement of big drivetrain items. in which case they actually ship those items for inspection.
they do not require PCNA approval on leaking pumps. as well they do not need PCNA to approve replacement of cracked mufflers. etc.

If a car is known to Porsche to have been tracked, is that the end of ANY warranty coverage, or is it a case by case issue?

Man, quite a few cars have been to a DE or two....

1. You need to review the warranty statement in the warranty book that came with your car. Porsche changed it between years and models.
2. If there isn't a clause in it relinquishing responsibility if the car is tracked, then you should be able to file an action through you state Motor Vehicle Commission. Most states have program that can provide state paid litigation against manufacturers and dealers for these types of issues.

I have been through 2 Texas Lemon Law cases and a BBB Arbitration case in the past with very good success.

So if not covered how much for repair? So if it already happened twice- are they recommending replacing the whole rack? Still bs if they cover it though. Mike
