Sorry to see the damage. Since you have some time you might want to stop in at a porsche body shop to beta top line repair cost to keep you adjuster honest. Then use their money to make your mods.

Agree with getting a pre-quote from a reputable bodyshop i.e Porsche dealer. Will help focus everyones minds and expectations.

Car is with the best support shop in New Orleans. Jon has been with Porsche dealers since the N.O. dealership was on River Road way back. Some of you may have bought parts from him when they advertised in national magazines. He was the parts/service manager at Porsche of N.O. when Mr. Bensen gave up the franchise to expand the Mercedes shop. He opened his shop to fill the void when we had no dealership here. He knows the body shop to use and has the experience dealing with adjusters to keep them honest.

Really sucks when stuff completely out of your control happens. Had a tie rod break at the track, at speed.....I was just a passenger at that point wondering: WTH????

Now that the decision has been made to go with a stock hood and an RS roof skin(deleting the sunroof) can anyone offer an alternative location for the magnetic GPS antenna? It is a traqmate that I used to stick right outside the sunroof. I previously tried the rear shelf and the dashboard but the signal did not work inside the car. Anybody have any ideas?

Place it inside your rear quarter window behind the drivers seat.

Do the sunroof delete, you will be very happy with the results.

You will love the MCS shocks. Ask me how I know and the service from MCS is top shelf.
