I am considering a 04/05 996 GT3C Cup car. I want to bring it to the R.Blake standard through Orbit. No rush, just need to have it done by next Winterfest at latest. Safer, more visceral, less depreciation sums it up for me.

Joe, congrats and enjoy this car. Nothing I would do differently and it was a great turnkey solution from a known buyer. Looking forward to pics/videos! Thanks Peter for QBing for me.

No problem, I love it when a deal comes together. Stephen and Joe great guys to deal with, Champion in their own good time made it all happen in the end
Now about that superfastest and safest DE CUP car of all...
I think 2700lbs 500+ to the wheels should do it.

Default Trakcar 3.1 Heading to Ohio... Slowly!!!

Sorry if this thread is a little stale, Just needed to vent to a group who can feel my pain.

The car was picked up by Reliable this past Thursday @ Champion.. Was supposed be heading north to be delivered by the wknd but apperently has gone back to Fla. to sit in their whse..WTF!!!!!!!

I thought in using a third party who has a history with the hauler I might get better treatment and faster service. Makes me wonder if this has anything to do with the amount of cars heading down to Amelia Island next wknd???

Just curious if any of you have had a negative experience with Reliable's service in the past?

Sorry but I can feel your pain. Shipper's seem to usually do what is most efficient (profitable) for them. Never seem able to commit to even a closely firm date. Just my .02. Hope you get it soon.

Go pick it up and drive it home since you are going to be in FL anyway.

I thought about picking it up with my trailer but I'd rather be in Amelia getting some training miles in, hitting the auctions and the Concours than on the road for days.

I've shipped many cars before and it usually takes longer than quoted.

Thanks for the sympathy Tasman (Road America's def on my bucket list btw)

Don't blame you. Enjoy Amelia. Would love to go there some day. Mid-Ohio is on my bucket list. Is there a particular event you would recommend for there. Maybe I'll bump into you at Road America some day.

Yeah this is my third yr in a row at Amelia... Quite a unique perspective from a road bike watching all the exotics/classics tool around the island. Last yr 7 or 8 F GTOs blew buy us with a police escort!

Check out the MOR Pca de and club race at mid-oh in early July.. Crowded but well managed and great fun. Many GT3s...

I'm jealous. My road bike hanging in the basement. Too crappy here to ride yet. Enjoy
