So when will it race?

from Ferdinand Magazine: Porsche 911/991 GT3 RSR Breaks Cover: Looks Good

“We are very pleased with how testing has gone so far,” said motorsport chief, Hartmut Kristen. “Sebring is very well suited to put a new vehicle through some demanding trials, and a very good rehearsal for one of the toughest races of all, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We will conduct some final tests on other race tracks so that our new 911 RSR is well and truly ready for the World Endurance Championship season.”

The 991 RSR has made its public debut on US soil but the car is not set to race here until 2014. This year, Messrs Lietz & Lieb will race one at Le Mans and in the WEC, with the Pilet/Bergmeister duo in another, bolstered respectively by Dumas & Bernhard for the first part of the season.

Race debut is April 14th at the Silverstone WEC opener.

It will be at Austin this year in the fall for the WEC race. ALMS and WEC will be having a double header weekend.
