I just need to add a Subaru BRZ and E92 M3 to the stable and then I'm set for the long haul.

With BMW moving to turdbros for the M3/M4, even with a manual, that car has no appeal to me.

NA + manual is a dying breed. Get them while you can, they might not be back for a long time, or ever.

At least Audi still offers the "base" R8 with a fantastic V8 + real 6spd manual. If I was spending 115K on a new car for street driving, that's probably what I would be buying.
I hear BRZ don't hold up on track, fun street car
I wonder if a manual base R8 with big brakes could be track worthy with the extra AWD weight...

Those are my picks for street only driving.

Although, it's a shame Audi won't offer a base R8 w/ RWD only and 6spd manual, then they would be on to something for $114K. They need a Valentino Balboni edition, bad.

I agree but Audi brand is too tied to the Quattro concept for that (but I thought the same about Subaru AWD when they released the BRZ to my surprise with RWD).

+1 for the manual.

This thread will have zero impact unless those with deposits for GT3/RS down at dealers walk away unless given a manual option. As long as they can sell cars without manuals there in no incentive to change. But if the dealers start loudly complaining about lost sales.....

Well guys,

It took a little over 3 years, but we are getting our car. And when I say "we are getting" I use those terms loosely..

It turns out AP and Porsche read these forums. Maybe the stuff we post/say directly helps, maybe not.

I guess the next thing to petition for - is make enough cars to satisfy demand.
