FLA997 has them on his 996 Cup car and they are fabulous!

My E88's have gloss back centers with polished lips.
(Im not really a fan of my black center/polished lip combo as it makes the wheel look small and i would rather have a sliver center or all black like FLA997.)

The benefit of having the polished lips however is that you can find them in discount spares bins from Cup car teams. I have scored plenty...

Paint doesn't not cause breakage
Silver bbs are also painted by factory
Bbs will paint for u, just pay.
They will do any size any configuration just pay.

Powder coating is frowned upon by bbs.

However IOU track, I would not anno blk.
It WILL turn gray, purple, red..... Any color but blk.
I can bet my link skip on that
If ur doesn't discolor u are probably beyond slow.
I used to anno mine after 20 sets plus.... I gave p

Oops, I should receive my factory black wheels within the next couple of days, already ordered and paid for.

they were bought as track wheels, so will advise how quick colour changes.

Mooty I wish I had this info earlier, serves me right for not consulting the group first.

Mental note: take photos prior to first outing!
