Default GT3 Racers, Track Rats and Wannabees :-) West Coast Race Series

You heard it here first

A friend of mine is involved with a fun sounding venture which you will be hearing about in the press soon. Here's a heads-up if you want more info or think you want to signup:

2013 West Coast Formula 3 Racing Series
  • Six weekends of racing
  • Coaching available for all driving abilities
  • Wheel-to-wheel racing in Formula 3 cars
  • Three west coast courses- Sonoma/Thunderhill/Laguna Seca
  • Full season/six weekends of racing $67,500. Other options available

If you've ever been brave enough to total a true cost to recreationally track your GT3, or gawd-forbid race a Cup car, you will understand this is a compelling value. It is real racing, in real race cars, in front of spectators. I have zero financial interest in this venture and am simply posting the info as an enthusiast. If I didn't have the Mono arriving I'd sign up for it. Interested folks should contact John Wood

Depending upon your experience and credentials you may need to spend some orientation time in one of the cars. Here is info on the cars which are Lola SRW-F3. Carbon tubs, turbo 300hp Mitsubishi engine, Hewland 5-sp sequential, 1000 lbs.

Going to Europe to run an F3 season would cost hundreds of thousands of $$. For high order amateurs or aspiring professional drivers, this is a very interesting opportunity.

As noted, interested folks should contact John Wood (click the link to email)

I cannot read what the website is at the bottom of the ad, too small/low res.
What is the website, please?

simraceway.com but there is no site set up for the race series yet. They've just put this together and the collateral and marketing material is not yet assembled.

Specific info on the cars is here: http://pdc.simraceway.com/cars/fjr-50 and from that link you can dig around a bit for general info.
