Fellow Rennlisters:
With all the discussion of which pads and which rotors to run, we figured we would make it really easy for those of you who haven't jumped on the PFC train yet.
We are so sure that you will like Performance Friction pads that we are going to guarantee it. Buy a set of PF pads and try them for a weekend. If you aren't satisfied, we will take them back and exchange them for the Pagid or Hawk pad of your choice (or the equivalent in store credit).
Also as part of the promotion, with any $200 brake pad purchase, all brake fluids we carry are half price!
Details can be found here:

For now nope, it's a open offer on the pad guarantee. The brake fluid special expires 2/4/13.
Kind regards,

Same here. Many years ago (2007) I tried PFC at the suggestion of my race shop after they were involved with the testing. I did and was sold. The Pagid felt like junk after that.
Much linear torque curve and easier to modulate, especially for those of you that like to trail.
Plus, they do NOT have to bed in the same way Pagid does. Just a a lap or two gradually getting to temp and you are ready to rock.
And it helps that you can run these suckers to the backing plate if you so choose. Another no-no with the Pagid.

PFC, hands down the best pads available.
Can we use them for the weekend, and if we're not completely satisfied, send them back for another set of PFC's?

Andrew:
I know you already like them! Now if you wanted to try another PF compound, you could.
Darrick does know his stuff. He's been at this for many years.
Mobonic, THANK YOU for the kind words!
Country911: PF had some older compounds in the past that were not always rotor friendly. That said, the 08 is a great pad that provides excellent stopping power while not being hard on the rotors. Like others have said, they bed in easy, have a very nice linear torque curve and you can run them almost to the backing plates, though I would change them out before they get that low.

Ill take you up on that. Can you pm me the price on the grippiest pad pfc makes? Whats the pfc version of pagid black. I do not care about wearn just want BITE!!! Is that the 08? Anything with more bite than that? I dont want rotor eaters unless there is the bite to go with them.
I love me some pagid black!
This is for porsche 996 tt 4 piston calipers btw. Fronts.
