Hi folks - I have some major coverage issues with an extended warranty I bought from my dealer. It's National Warranty. I think their HQ is in Florida.
I know insurance company tactics and get that they declined this & now I have to go through the pain of appealing their decision, yada, yada.
I would sincerely appreciate anyone sharing their experiences with me here or privately so that I can start this process as educated and as efficiently as may be possible.
I will share details and outcome as soon as I am able. Thanks a ton,
Brendan

Not to go into a bunch of needles detail but you mentioned that this was aftermarket purchased through the dealer. I would start with getting the dealership on your side, they are the sales out let for these policies and their displeasure means much more than all of ours combined.
Second depending on where you bought this coverage the dealership may have some liability as well.
If you need detailed processing then post what you are thinking and we can add and subtract form there. I have owned insurance combines and assure you the dealer sales outlet is the number one levage you have. Getting their service department behind y ou is priority one.

now I own the next steps, which is guidance i'm seeking. others' experiences here will help, I hope. do I want to go to the regional manager, jerk around, then go to the national sales crappiness manager, then go blah, blah
or, do I just have my attorney start sending mail, etc? the service department was assertive with the inspector regarding the repair. the inspector agreed with the repair but not the "cause". in any regard, there is no accusation that I abused the car or the like, just that a small failure caused the large one.
they are claiming they'll only pay for the small failure even though there is no evidence that the small failure even happened.
