Data Logging with AiM SoloDL and a 997 GT2
Just want to say that I have successfully recorded data from my '08 GT2 to an AiM SoloDL. I've been capturing data on this unit for a while using my M3 (an example can be found below). And now it works on the Porsche. So, if there was any question whether it worked, it does. All I had to do was switch the DL from the M3 ECU to the Bosch/GT3 ECU in Race Studio.
Also want to say thanks to Richard at M-World (www.m-world.us/aim) who originally sold me the SoloDL for my M3. When I bought the GT2 he immediately shipped me a new plug-and-play harness for the ECU and detailed instructions that made it simple to install. Took about 30 minutes and a couple of tools. Great customer service and responsiveness.
Some M3 video with the DL on Race Render 2:
Can't wait to get the GT2 to the track for some new video!

Very nice! Missed you at the Ridge last Saturday. It was actually a really good day in spite of the less than ideal weather. The transition from the M3 to the GT3RS was not as difficult as I anticipated.

Update: Finally got the GT2 out on a track. Here's what the data logging looks like:
Again, using SoloDL (with m-world harness) with a Contour camera and syncing/editing the two in RaceRender2.
Fun day!

Nice laps at the Ridge! I was running 2:05 with my Lexus ISF (stock on MPSS) and 1:59 with my 7.2 GT3 on RE11's. Your videos are smooth and the data overlay looks ideal with track map and inputs.
