Be careful listening to Mr always Wong, even in the link he gives you above he blurts two incorrect Porsche "facts"
1) He thinks the GT2RS has different VTG turbos to the regular GT2 despite them having the same part number
2) He somehow thinks that an 8.75" wheel is narrower than a 8.5" wheel.
One should really see the different fiche on these parts for real verification that he got this one correct.
FWIW I have the stuck on extensions on stock GT2 with wheels spaced out to GT2RS width and 245s and zero rubbing problems although the cut away (if valid) may be for more aggressive geo settings
