I'd have to look but it was either cycle 52 or 53 when both rears corded same session.

Fronts had not yet corded but must have been close.

This wear was running Rad approved Gold Cup times so I'd like to think I"m not out there putting around to get good tire wear. As I understand it though our tracks are much easier on tires than what you guys run down there

On my first session my pressures went through the roof. That's probably what caused it. I was just surprised that it didn't smooth out with the subsequent runs where I was maxing out at 38 pounds.

I also found that after 4-5 hot laps that I'd overheated the tires and they lost significant grip for the remainder of the session. BIG understeer.

I've had the best luck/wear with 36 front / 38 rear. I also come out at 30 cold all around and bleed down mid session. They usually spike to 38/42 after a few hot laps.

I'm not sure not the tires are suited to coming out at 24 cold without damaging them.

Just my two cents worth here.

We run the NT01 and I love them as I have said before, but we are also running lower pressures than most. While at Cresson where I had track support we determined that 27 pounds cold was the best starting number at 80 degrees air temp then we adjust from there depending on track configuration and the temp. I know this give me a 34 at temp which is lower than most but there was plenty of data to support this. On a track like Tws CCX we drop out 1-2 pounds right side since this is where all the heat load is.

The gaining I saw at Nola and at COTA. It may have more to do with the freshness of the track than temps and pressure but has not affected our cycle life. I know someone is going to call bull**** on this but we are getting 48-52 cycles on these. We swap left and right daily and there seems to be life left in them but I just worry so off they came.

Of course all this is on a 996 GT2 so there are no nanny issues good or bad.

Best of luck if you can run them try I think you will like them. Just dont tell Nitto I don't want to pay more. Lol

That's about how high mine were through about heat cycle 12 before I realized that my pressure gauge was wrong and reading way low.

Took a bit to wear off that odd pattern but it did go away.

According to my data best lap is always lap 3-4 on warm days then they get a little greasy. Cold days I could pretty much go as hard as I wanted the whole session without issue. My best lap of the year was lap 11 of a session on a 50 degree day

I go out at 22-24 and they will be 32-34 at the end of the session in 80+F
COTA and NOLA are easy on tires. I got about 30 sessions.

We will run the temps and pressure on the car at TWS Saturday and then see starting at 24 it's supposed to be 74.
