I love the ghosted decal in the front, a subtle hint of 4.0. Did it have this on any other part of the car?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Porsche allow some buyers to reserve a number if said buyer was early enough to ask or am I just listening to some BS?

man, in dark silver that 4.0L could easily be driven daily with the same little attention as a Carrera 2, especially with the rear wing removed!

Yes, you could definitely specify a number (assuming of course it wasn't already taken), and yes, the number did not have any relation to build order. So, it could well be that this dark silver is still the last off of the line, consistent with another car (993) in his stable (if we are talking about the same guy).
