That's funny. My wife wont ride in the RS if I have the oem red wheels ON it
LOL .. I wish I could have benefitted. Too bad my mind was set on a grey black/red RS. Two reasons I picked this combo. 1) its my tribute to the Steve McQueen's slate grey 911 in the movie LeMans and 2) my wife said that the only way she would approve a RS is if it had red wheels.

It will be interesting to see how prices will evolve now that its clear 991 GT3 will not use Mezger engine - only RSR and CUP will get the "honour".
What the 991 GT3 RS will be is not certain yet - however certain is that the 997.2 GT3 was/is the last one to use the racing GT1 engine. My prediction is that prices for 3.8 ones will be quite stable ..even when the 991 gt3 is there. The good thing for the 3.8 will be that the new one will be considerably more expensive..about 140-150 compared to about 100K then for a good used 3.8..
