It's never sold out for the Euro's. Just show up at lunch on Sunday with bald tires and tell Maria your dog ate the tech sheet.

Carter is one of the sheep, a follower of Randy. Steve won't even be recognizable after I get done with him at Winterfest. Guarantees he goes back to Bingo night in Tampa.

How can you miss registration if it opens four weeks in advance?

Hi guys it was fun to catch up with all the posts after the Sebring Chin November event, really enjoyed the weekend.

Reading through the comments it's great to see so much discussion about racing/driving lines and techniques, with all drivers having different skill sets the fun comes from comparing the contrasting styles and seeing what works.

When coaching one of the important points i make sure is understood is precision, so often drivers will try to go faster and faster and forget that unless they place the car millimetre perfect everywhere then no amount of late braking or fast gear shifting will make up for missed apex's. This is easier to see when watching a single seater than when on-board in a GT car, here is an example -

At your next outing take time to look at where you are placing the car during corner entry, apex and out to the exit, make sure you are maximising the full width of the track, may be during a session take a slow lap half way through the session the look at the lines you are driving, it will also give the opportunity to relax and breath !

Also lines for specific corners are constantly evolving depending on the car, track and weather conditions, so don't get too fixed with with one line and not be aware of possible changes, watch the top guys and you will see their ability to adapt.

cheers

Nigel

Hi Nigel,

Great first [post, welcome to the asylum.
Coaching made agiant difference in how i (try to) drove.
Small things that you think are fine get smacked out of you by coaches, no short lifts to set the car to fix a corner, use all the road, get stuff done way on time, etc. etc.. I cant do it, but way more fun to know what you are chasing then before coaching. Safer too.

When are you back at Sebring? Anything firmed up for Dec 8+9?
