Thinking about replacing the hood crest with a silver one. Had one on my black Turbo and it looked sweet, the only problem is that with my current car the steering crest is gold. Anyone know if they make a silver crest for the airbag. Thanks

Unless PCNA sells an airbag with the silver crest then you are out of luck since the badge is riveted on so it does not become a flying projectile in the event of deployment. I've seen 996 guys "tape" on a silver badge on the airbags that just have the embossed crest rather than an actual metal crest and I cringe thinking what could happen if the airbag deploys.

I almost forgot, the 996 had a silver crest airbag option as I ordered one in mine. So maybe there is a 997 one?
