Default Aftermarket deck lids and wings

As part of my ongoing improvements I am looking at aerodynamic mods and wondering if anyone had added an aftermarket deck lid and wing

The focus is on performance improvement not looks

Interested in all possibilities and any feedback appreciated

997.1 cup wing/uprights on a Getty street cup decklid (provision for street fans)

If factory decklid fitment is a 10 then I would rate the Getty piece at about a 7

I don't have Getty prices, but the quality is really close to factory quality.

Please let me know if I can help.

Tks.

I am local to Getty, GMG, Mashaw, etc....I have seen examples of each. Closest to OEM is GMG. If you go Cup Wing or 997.2 GT3RS Wing, definitely GMG. If 997.1 GT3RS conversion? Not sure yet, still researching. Cost varies based on quality...$3500 to $5500. I have all the info on these, contact me if you need help.

I went with the Getty 2010 cup. It's not OEM quality, but certainly good enough. You'll need a competent body shop to prep and paint. I'd probably give it an 8 on a 1 to 10. If you're a cars and coffee show guy, you probably won't like it as there's a few little things. If you're a track monkey, it's perfect.

I'm really pleased with mine. Wasn't sure if it worked or not till driving my car through certain corners and then riding in another GT3 with an OEM wing. It works for sure. Less drama in high speed sweepers. Now working on getting the ***** to take advantage of extra aero

im not sure who built my lid, but it has problems clearing the rear tail light trim inside the engine bay to the point i had to "trim" the black plastic upper lip around the tails.

The gaps fitment is also a little larger on the bottom of the lid.

The other thing was to use the stock latch i had to use multpile spacers and long bolts on the lid to maintain it.

But once it is on with the Cup wing, it is a beautiful sight.

Dont even ask me about the Cup doors

That wasn't a getty piece then. We didn't encounter any of those problems.

The only downside to the Getty piece is that it takes a bit of work to make it "paintable". I paid to have them prep it for paint for an extra $200. Fail. I should have just paid my bodyshop instead.

All in all they got it looking really good. Expected with aftermarket pieces. Even the $5k techart wing I had on my last car looked like *** when we took it out of the box. Don't get why these manufacturers can't work on their molds.

I have them available, in different options. 997.1 GT3, 997.2 GT3 with .1 interior, with air ducts directly to seal in the air box, carbon fiber honey comb (4.0lbs) etc...
Price is not Getty, but quality is far superior

This company delivers quality products. They were the OEM supplier for the front carbon hood on the 996 GT3 RS.

Any of you guys tried the Revozport 997 Cup replica parts? The Revozport boys are old friends of mine and their fiberglass is quite good, much better than most. Recently they've been doing kits for the McLaren and some Lambos, so you know fit/finish isn't going to be bad.

Thanks to everyone
Not cheap I know but
Serious consideration being given for GMG with 55" RSR wing and cup uprights
the light weight and their racing background is important but the fit really sways it for me

But if you own a GT3....don't compromise cost! The GMG full carbon deck lid and wing beats all....still way cheaper than oem. I will post pics if I decide to install it!
