What fun is impulse control if we all did that we would be home looking at 401k balances. Live for now, as tomorrow you may not be able to.

Works for me. May be worth more than a lot of 401K's.

First Trakcar's, now Eddie's, these are the true turn-key toys.

Just moved two weeks ago to "down-size", but with the way the renos are going, I could easily have bought this and have $$ left over, oh well.

This forum is bad for the "I'm going to get it and keep it" crowd...

im still in my humble 997.1RS, but with all these latest greatest 3.8L and mighty 4.0L i feel a little left behind

The car looks killer in that color scheme. It could be a daily driver in that color while still being one of thes coolest colors available.

Great excuse for somebody looking to for a RS as well as being able to arrive and drive winterfest this January. (GT3FEST)

Nothing humble about your .1 RS. It's awesome.

I'm going crazy. At the same time that I love this car, and it's the car that I'm keeping for the longest period of time in the past few years, I've been talking about the 4.0 for a while, I wrote a thread about 6 months ago, when I had the chance to drive Juan's car for little bit.
And the reason why I say that I'm going crazy is because I finally got rid of the thing that used to annoy me the most on the 3.8 engine, which is the lack of throttle response and now linear power and a little bit of jerkiness.
Now the car feel a lot better than when it first came to me. This thing pulls like a freight train, (for a 3.8RS) hopefully I'll do some rolling tests with a 996GT2 from a friend of mine over the weekend.
If I don't sell it quickly I'll just keep and get rid of the crap ... when the time comes the 4.0 will be mine and I know that.
Getting old is a good thing and is giving me a little bit more patience, which I believe to be a great virtue that I don't have much ... but I'm getting there.
