Nt01 is softer sidewall, they like camber. i usually flip them once to extend life, even with perfect camber on the m3.

Planning to add a touch of front toe out this season as well.

More front downforce. Softer as well so they handle abuse better than stock item.

Yes, even with good wear/camber, if you look very close, the outside edge will have a bigger taper than the inside edge. Flip on the rim and drive till they cord. Best grip will literally be the session they cord.

NP. Forgot to add that it probably nicely balances the additional downforce at the rear from the Baron uprights.

Thank you!
I have 1 new set and one with 4 days but did not think about flipping them. Maybe I can still do it Monday or at the track..

After next week I will treat her with a new clear bra, full detail, some new rocker panels.
looks like work is getting out of hand so not many track days between now and say September :-(
But she will look pretty for the daily commute.
Awesome Peter! Glad you're making new personal bests at Sebring even in less than ideal conditions!

Thanks Stephen!
Checked on your car Friday, should be done this coming week.

Weather is rough this week, high of 86f in Sebring Tuesday last time I looked. Not ideal.

I guess Racekeeper is similar, but if you have anything else, toss it.

The car came with a Guard LSD and a light weight battery, the Guard is different from the Motorsports one I had build by Orbit for the 2 3.8RS before.
I cant really say how different because the shocks and springs are different on the 4.0. and it has more power so that affect track out..
Maybe I will swap out one day just to see how the difference feels in the car. if I do, I will do it at the track to see the difference.

The only modification I made is PFC 08 pads, Barron wing uprights, front NACA duct brake cooling, CUP front lip and the M&M side muffler delete.

I enjoy the muffler and uprights every day. It makes the car so much more enjoyable to drive. Get both for your RS, the wing looks like it belongs and you can see the cops coming. The M&M sound perfect, the extra 20+HP does not hurt either.

After all the on-track changes at Winterfest, lowering the car, messing with camber and sway bars I ended up now for nect week with this setting:

Much lower car, less rake:
Height F92mm and R118mm, we added back a little rake by raising the rear back up 4 mm while re-doing the corner weights and camber.

Corner balance was still good, it was 50.1% now it is 50.02% so no change but just wanted to make sure.

Total weight was 3,377 with 250lbs in drivers seat, so 3127 with a topped off fuel tank. Fuel is 6lbs per gallon, so about 100lbs of fuel makes it very close to ~3025lbs curbweight no fuel, no driver. This is with everything in the car as i drive it every day, all tools etc. Good enough for me, but even with the addition of the heavy CS roll bar the car is pretty light!

For the weight obsessed, no roll bar, PCCB and lexan could probably take car of another 200lbs without destroying the car...

The Ti M&M muffler will take another 10lbs of the rear once it arrives.

Not a bad car this, the driver just needs to learn to set it up and drive it LOL.

New camber and toe:
Front toe now .5mm out was zero before to help with turn in, as well at the 4mm raise in the rear I guess.

Rear toe is now 2mm in each side, remains the same. Enough stability, lose enough for trail brake etc. I tried 3mm each stuck like glue but killed the tires.

Camber front from -2.5 to -2.9 as I corded the NT-01's outside, so I figure they need more camber than the RA1's so I asked for max camber without rotating struts and see what happens.

Camber rear went from -1.7 to - 1.9, the RA1 tires were wearing perfect after 3 days, so perhaps I can get away with a tiny bit more..

Sway bars full stiff front (From full soft) and rear bar was tried full soft but with lowering the car in the rear went back to middle.

Rear wing raised with taller Barron uprights and set at max angle..
Peter,

Great setup! Question....did you go with side deletes only? No tune or sport cats?

Thanks for help this week! I'd love tome out to FL and run with you, but you are bit too "pro" for me! I'm doing a GMG track day this Saturday at CA Motor Speedway. Doubling down on the ClearPlex to see how it performs!

Thanks, have fun!
I have not doubled the Clear Plex, seems strong enough as it is.

Looking forward to night drivin tomorrow, maybe I should have put a clean sheet on, I probably need all the clarity I can get!

No tune or headers.

I corded one rear tire today, so backing down the rear camber to -1.5.
Fresh toyos are mounted :-)
