My all time favorite race car...that was terrific. Gave me a flashback to my childhood. CH is doing some great stories right now.

Great video and interview. Now just listening to the Porsche designer will illustrate how you need to address both the front and rear of your car for wing additions/modifications. Will be in Stuttgart end of October for factory and museum tour. Doubt if I'll get to drive a museum piece though.

You will definitely enjoy the museum. If you like collectables, stop by the gift shop. I would also recommend the Mercedes museum if time permits. It's only about a 15 minute drive from the Porsche museum.

Enjoy!

Okay, now that I've actually watched it all I can say is wow. The interview with Norbert Singer really made it special. I have always been interested in what he says and how he says it. I only wish the recent article in Excellence captured as much emotion.

Before I took my first museum tour the person who arranged the tour for me said, "We love it when people visit the factory because we know we'll have a customer for life." I scoffed it off as salesmanship until I did the tour. He was right. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Please post your thoughts when you've done it.

OP: Great video.

Awesome video, what a treat for CH to get to drive. Imagine balling that one up. I had the good fortune to have breakfast with Derek Bell at one of our local PCA events last year, a true gentleman and a genuine motorhead to boot. He talked about the 962 and 917 Porsches and told a great story regarding Singer's reluctance to tell him he was doing 246 in a 917 on the Mulsanne straight, and how long you literally stayed flat out. Talk about *****. The 962 is my favorite. I'd love to see it's modern equivalent return when Porsche goes racing again.

The DNA in that car is in our cars, that separates Porsche from everyone else. I hope this direct connection will not fade away with the new models....the 991 is The first of many over refinement exercises that is occurring
