You mean a shop in South Florida developed the blipper ... than others start using.
Gavin imports the sequential shifter. I am unsure but I think maybe he made his own blipper which is cable driven and acually moves the pedal. I saw it at Sebring when I was last there with you Eddie in the Spring.
The bliper is a simple but very effective. Every time you down shift, it push the gas pedal. That is adjustable too, BTW. Very simple design, but works.
This does not come with the blipper, but like others have said, Gavin has made one that works great. Gavin knows me very well and has my shifter in his shop.
The blipper is copy of the Manthey blipper first developed for there cup cars.
Imagine a long rod that connects to the shifter & pushes "blips" the throttle when you push forward for downshifts.
I really would liket o hear from someone that had this in a track car and used it a lot, all the engineering points to obliterating syncro's and costly tranny rebuilds.
Has anyone had one in their car for an extended period of time?

Why are their so many "used" sets for sale.....?
Have you talked to Gavin at Auto Quest?
It is worth a call and discussion on the sequential shifter.
As it is known you still need the clutch for both up & down shifts and you still need to lift on upshifts.

Ranger (Sua Sponte)
the upside I see with this system is that you don't accidentally downshift to the wrong gear and overrev. This probably would have saved me this summer at Road America where 3x I went from 6th to 1st instead of 3rd going into t1.

Saw it in a track car. Never worked properly.
Both removed and went back to stock. One was a Cup and another one a 2010 GT3RS.
The owner of the RS thought the same thing about money shift, but at the end of the day, is just better to learn how to shift.
