Mike, not sure if you knew but the two cup cars in the Goldcrest tent were for the $10,000 Cup class. Goldcrest goes to Barber every time they do that class.
That red camaro had massive tires. Not sure the size but the fronts were bigger than my 305 rears.

The best events are only really chin and pboc towards end of year. Alabama region runs a decent event too. Barber gets really frustrating with traffic. My car wasn't ready this past weekend or i would have gone.
Hate to have missed that one I like running with the MTI vettes. I used to run NASA TT there but NASA doesn't run there anymore.
1st time with my car. I did the Porsche Master Class my wife bought me back in March 2009. Yes mti was there with cars and 18 wheel truck. Goldcrest was there with Cup cars too. Yeah the Vette's were friggin awesome! great drivers too. There was a guy with an old early 70's red Camaro huge mod's total track car..it was a rocket and nicely done up.

Here is a lap of me following a .2 GT3 with suspension mod's.I was trying to be smooth and calm with my driving and stay way ahed of the car. I feel like I could get back on throttle a little eariler everywhere and brake maybe later especially into T1 and T5. The throttle graphic seems later than what I was doing and shows some throttle modulation over the T4 hill crest which I know for sure I was full throttle over that crest all day long. Also the brake light is not tied into my ecu/brakes and is only a g-force type of light so for example going down hill from T13 hill crest I never applied the brake just left off the throttle to tun in and hit apex at the bottokm of the hill but the brake light on the graphic does come on.
I can't wait to get back to Barber and drive more. I had a fun safe weekend and drove the car home in 1 piece. I think there is a 1:46 for sure in me and the car but that would really be on the edge....what do you all think?
2012 GTS stock non-height adjustable suspension, stock engine, OZ 18" wheels with Toyo R888 tires.

I was very impressed with the early and often point-by's at Barber. I only got swallowed up by one train all weekend.
The flag stations were crazy with the blue flag though. I would get a point-by, make the pass and then the next flag station would start waving the blue flag immediately to give the guy behind the point-by. Obviously ignored.
