Default Trailer Time

I think I've read through all the trailer related posts... It's clear that Trailex is the one to get, problem is on the West Coast they are mostly nonexistent and I want a new one. Featherlite and Aluma seem to be solid alternatives. So my question to you RS owners with Featherlite and Aluma trailers does the door clear the trailer tires with the fender off.

Also I'm not opposed to used Trailex options - open or enclosed so if someone has one for sale PM me.

Thanks,

I have and Aluma, and with the fender off the door clears the trailer tires easily.

Car door does not clear tires with fender off on 20' open FL 3110.

When do you need/want the trailer. Mine is very nice with some nice options and will be for sale....but not for a few months at least.

Not this weekend. I'll be at Buttonwillow 9/21, Big Willow 9/22.

I can send you pics later tonight if you would like, just so you can keep it in mind if nothing else turns up. Problem is...I have a lot of upcoming events and will need it thru the fall, at least

Just go all in and go with an enclosed Featherlite 24'-0" and you will love life! Mine becomes a drivers lounge when the car is unloaded with a full kitchen, fold down banquett and pop up dining table.

It would be really nice to have an enclosed trailer with a roll up awning on the side of it...shade for the blazing hot summer events.

If I jack the front of the trailer up until the front trailer tire is off the ground the door will open and loading is much easier with the front of the trailer lifted. Featherlight 3110

Isn't that more of a PITA than just squeezing out of the partially opened car door?

I think raceramps makes little ramps that you can drive up on which would probably give enough added clearance...but i never bothered.

I am beginning to head in this direction also. What type of trailer does PJS have?
