Bob - not disagreeing with your practical assertion, but isn't the real issue that Porsche does not admit that this problem exists in order to prevent a recall of the part in all vehicles sold?
If a car is sold new under warranty, the driver is under no obligation to drive the car during the warranty period. Nowhere in the documentation does it say that the car must be DRIVEN to be WARRANTIED.
If this is a design flaw, isn't it up to Porsche fix the problem?
My $0.02,

From: Somewhere in a galaxy far, far away....
Yes, the car driven more often can cure a weapy RMS, but on the other side one shouldnt have to use the car to avoid leaks....
Open your warranty book and get the phone number for Porsche.
Call them and let them know the mess on your new garage floor is effecting your wife's decision on buying a new Porsche...
They will send a regional or national rep to inspect the car at the dealer.
If the rep feels the leak is significant, they will make a call on it and hopefully you are in business.
My advise is drive the car more throughtout september while you wait for the inspection.
This will determine what happens with warranty claim.
You may not need anything.

On the other hand , warranty is warranty and should be honored.
At least this way, he will have the latest RMS update with the implementation of the ring. Some (lucky) cars benefited from the upgrade.
I vote for pressing the dealer and/or Porsche to do the right thing.

Your Responsibility for Normal Vehicle Use
Your Owner’s Manual (which includes specific recommendations against
using your car in certain ways) was written with the assumption that you
will use your car only in ways for which it was designed:
• To carry passengers and cargo within specified load limits. (The load
limits are specified on labels located in different places depending on
your model Porsche. Your Owner’s Manual gives the locations.)
• To be driven on reasonable road surfaces within legal speed limits.
Porsche Guidelines specify reasonable mileage to be at least
15 miles / 24 kilometers per day or 6000 miles / 9600 kilometers
per rolling 12 months.
• If you drive less than the above-mentioned limits, or in the event of
prolonged storage, contact your local authorized Porsche dealer
for instructions.(Note: A battery maintainer is available at your local authorized
Porsche dealer. It must be used to maintain your vehicle’s battery
state of charge if your vehicle will not be used for several days.)
Interesting... Sounds like the exclusion is aimed at battery maintainers rather than RMS leaks...

Interesting point. I "googled" for Porsche warranty info and came across a PDF online from Porsche Canada for 2010:

Did you contact your dealer to ask for directions for how to take of your car if you plan to rarely drive it up front? If no, they can deny the claim due to negligence...and yes when these cars are rarely driven, they commonly have leaves as described. If the standard maintenance schedule is not followed, that is also a red flag. You should of had at least 1 oil change and 1 brake flush at the 2 year interval or you can be claimed negligent and your warranty voided.

If i understand every gt3 in north leak because nobody drive them during winter? My dealer was always very fair with me and i want to keep good relationship with them. If they are right , i will keep it like this and put a small 2$ bucket under my $$$ car. I just want to reconfort myself ! Can a rms leak become a major problem if not repair?

Can you try another dealer?
I had rms and fms done under warranty
I bought a 3500 mile car and it leaked and the leaks got worse
Took it to dealer - they did both
Your service manager is being a dick
