3 days of sectional training, plus 18 hours of free driving, €2.850 isn't so bad. The coaches aren't volunteers.
As you know car stuff is expensive over here, and how much would 4 days at a Porsche school at that place in Alabama cost?

I was actually referring to the cost compared to the BMW Intl School that is usually held around the beginning of August but hasn't been held for a couple of years due to the current state of affairs @ the Ring ... it was a little more affordable.
I don't think its bad value for the money, quite the opposite when you compare to PSDS or BMW M school Ring rates ... its still feels like a lot of money in any currency

Now BMW Intl School is gone whereas Scuderia accepted the new prices and did a 3-year contract with the new mgmt.
Scuderia Hanseat also has more instructors - 1 per group AND 1 per section. that way you get more and better feedback.
I attended the BMW Intl School and Scuderia Hanseat, both 2-3 times and liked the format with the combination of sections which makes it A LOT easier to learn the 72 turns of the Ring and full rounds in open pit lane format. Actually there is so much driving that in the full rounds there tends to be very little traffic.
Scuderia S7 is another alternative

there take fewer cars, so the groups are smaller which could be a great plus.

Usually a good time to go to the ring if you want to spot some really exclusive cars (Gumpert Apollo and the likes).
I also find it a lot of money, but I wouldn't call it overpriced.
