most humans, inc infants, know where to put the nipple or food.... i rarely very rarely see ppl stuff food into their eyeballs or ears...
the fact we are still talking about CL indicates it's not all that natural. a good precise mechanism for sure, but not very "intuitive".
off the soap box, i am not going to sip coffee through my nose...i am one of those "rare" ones.

^joe and I laughed our *** off when u tried removing your CL's last trackday- lol. We will never buy a CL Porsche- u can engrave that in stone!!! Mike

I think he got it off.
mdrums - regarding loosening with breaker bar....weight should be more important than height, but i would think all other things being equal, height would be an advantage. allows you to get more easily "on top" of the bar. i often need to lift myself off the ground while hefting down on the bar.
mooty did you really sell the 4.0 already???

Drive around for a while and get them nice and warm. They will come right off then. If you torqued them hot at 440lb/ft they are impossible to get off cold. drive around for 15 minutes with lots of hard braking and you'll be all set.

I use a 42" breaker bar and a jack handle slipped over the end which gives me like another 8" to 12" inches of leverage.
Sometimes they are harder to get off then other times.
Maybe I needed more grease in the centerlock as I don't regrease everytime I take off wheels. I don't track at all, just autocross.
I have no idea how the dealer is going to get them off. I torqued to 449 lbs. So I don't think they are over torqued. Got my fronts off, one of them with some more difficulty than usual.
Couldn't get the left rear off and didn't even try the right rear. Also pulled my back out trying to get the rear off. Hopefully just a pulled muscle.
Did I damage the hub ?
Will dealer cover under warranty ?
How will they get the wheel off ?
About how much to repair if not covered under warranty ?

I've had this issue a few times.
Even while using a 4 ft piece of pipe over my breaker bar, I've had trouble getting a CL off every so often.
I'm only 150 lbs, so lacked the mass that some others have.
I looked pretty ridiculous bouncing on that thing.
But I came up with a solution my first time out.
After an hour of sweat and effort, and just as I was about to give up, it hit me...
It's simple.
I took the pipe off and put the breaker bar (only 18" handle) in the "pull up" position.
Then I simply put my jack under the handle and gave it a few pumps.
Done.
BTW, a 3/4 breaker bar is only $20 at Harbor Freight. The piece of pipe from Home Depot is about $15.
For $35, you get a "telescopic" breaker for 1/10 of that other one that some seem so enamored with, and no need to invest in a torque multiplier.
