Default Center exhaust bypass RSS v GMG

UPDATE
Love my RSS center exhaust xpipe bypass. Was on the track yesterday and my friends were impressed as well.

I know there are other brands out there. I am trying to decide between these two for now. Which would you choose and why? Sound is most important but fit and finish and quality of tubing used are vital components also.

I know others include sharkwerks, FVD Brombacher...

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I know how you feel. I was going to go with the RSS (I think Craig at RennStore sells them for a good price). But I came across a used Sharwerks for 500 bucks so I went with it. Not answering your question, but I can tell you Shartwerks was an easy install, a perfect fit, and the sound... Oh the sound is outstanding. Addicting really. And I would bet the RSS and GMG sound great too.

My friend who has a nice white GT3 has the sharkwerks and is willing to sell me his as he wants a bit louder sound. I do have the sharkwerks center bypass of my 09 C4S but that is a different kettle of fish from a GT3. Met the staff at Sharkwerks as they are close to where my mother lives. Good people.

Of course my friend who wants a more aggressive sound is a bit younger than me.

These other choices I have given are for discounted center bypasses in the 1600 price range.

Sharky sounds nicest to my ears. They put a tilting sunroofsin your car just for the Sharky!

GMG has the best craftsmanship in my opinion, sharky has great sound and value, and like you mentioned, good people.
This kind of thing really counts...

There is a slight difference between RSS and Sharky, but it is subtle and I couldn't begin to verbally describe it. They both sound great, and I really don't think there is a significant qualitative difference in the sound. I like the big black tips built in to the RSS, but the powder coating can be delicate and susceptible to scratches. Mine got all scratched to hell the first couple months I had it (thx mostly to the smog checker) and the awesome crew at RSS removed it and recoated it free of charge while the car was there for a few other goodies. i only heard GMG once or twice and it is a bit louder than the other two.

I would actually like something louder now....but when I was looking for the xpipe got tired of trying to figure out which one sounded better based on opinions on the forum. Many have tried based on the millions of threads on the topic, and it can't be done - you just have to hear them (and you still probably won't be able to decide) or randomly pick one. Eventually I found a great deal on a new RSS and so that is what I went with. Love it and plan to keep it....just want something louder (car is mostly track use)

I personally like the GMG best, simply based on design and build. Differences are minimal, but I am extremely detail oriented.

I have the GMG bypass, and very happy with it. You really can't go wrong with either. I think RSS design and build is also top notch.

I have used rss xpipe and a used sharky, both for sale, either for 750 includes shipping continental USA. Fwiw, xpipe is louder and has cooler sound.
FYI, I run only on track and use rear stock muffler, delete sides in both my gt3's.

Damn I just bought a new one at double the price for Sharky. This is what I get for not being patient. But the sound is intoxicating. Makes me want to drive it again and again and keep revving it.
