Default Found my .1RS carrot

Follow up from my 'Looking for a .1RS thread'...

After searching for a few weeks I found one not 10 minutes from my door, and there are very few of these in my area.

It initially sat for months, the seller was unsure he wanted to part with it asking $120K to start with, slowly it went down and after being on the market for 7 months he accepted mid $90's.

Well spec'd for show and go, PCCB, full leather, no wart, no nav, oem half cage, clear bra, 80 in level 1, records for everything, bought from a well known and meticulous original owner, 4300 miles. Couldn't be happier...and the kids love the noisy orange car, the RS's really appeals the to kid in me too big wing and all. Used RSS bypass ready to go, but enjoying it as for now. Have one question, is the shifter really this notchy?

Gorgeous! Congrats! Looks like a new car. Yes, the shifter is notchy until warm.

Shift is notchy and will remain notchy until the day you sell this carrot.

Note: those are Hoosiers on your wheels. Be real careful with those on the street--I'll switch out to MPSS'es for street use at first opportunity.

I changed my tranny oil and cleaned all the crap out. Made my shifter smoother... I had about 10k miles on mine

very nice. Love the orange. Have had mine for 2 weeks now. Going to track this Sunday. Hired an all day coach (who knows me from my C4s tracking). 30+ days of no rain in Seattle, woohoo!

great car. and 5 lugs wheels are awesome.
but i just keep thinking - what an internal condition of all gaskets will be on a '07 car with 4300 miles? no one drove it all all. watch it closely and listen to engine noises when you`ll start braking it in.
