Cool Shots of my Race Rig

Nice photography!
I want to do something like this but am stumped on the hitch. I personally don't want to do the work myself and want to buy a hitch that is strong and works and can be removed easily when not trailering.
Can you take some detailed photo's of your hitch set up and let us know where you got it and how it's installed?

Thanks for all the great comments guys! For thoes of you that don't think you get enough looks in your car now, just add a trailor =) . It's great you don't even know its back there. 80mph no problem.
Thanks, no not RS, 08' narrow body, just aggressive offsets on the wheels makes the fenders look wider =)
YOu should have called me, could have helped. Like a puzzle, first time is the hardest then it's easy after that. Was Headed to Willow Springs
Switched the Trailers CL's to 5 lug b/c I was affraid of loosing a wheel
Hitch is Willwood Hitch. It's $$ but ultra trick. I got the hitch and the beefier supports. Willwood install says you don't have to remove the bumper but you need to cut much much more material. I wanted to keep this as hidden as possible so I removed the bumper, support, heatshield etc and Cut everything to spec, Then wired the car w/ a kit from Kragen and pinned / wired it myself (Hardest part) If anyone needs the pin out I created my own diagram from it. Cut a small hole in the bumper, run the wires and your set. Only added about 1lb. to the car.
Now you see it ....
Now you don't ....
Then just picked up a small Trailer from Harbor Freight, plywood, and box from Walmart, Then designed a rig to hold the wheels. Mounted poles to the trailer, cut 2 12' disc's from the spare plywood, and some 12' foam disc' (protect the wheels) with Locking pins in the poles to keep the wheels from going anywhere.
Solid as a rock. Once loaded total weight on the toung is only about 45-50lbs.
Packed away for the next weekend...
Good Eye! Yes, my Street wheels are 19' GMG WC-GT Mono's
18' Fikse's on the Trailer w/ R6's
Thanks again Guys,
Let me know if you have other Q's on the trailer.

^^ Thanks Nan ^^
Chains hook to the receiver so if the trailer comes off the ball your good. Loose the receiver and the trailer is gone. This was my first concern w/ the design so I drilled the pin that holds the receiver in and added a locking cotter key so its not going anywhere.
It's really hard to get the hitch on and off the ball b/c the trailer is so light so I just keep the trailer attached to the ball and remove the entire receiver in and out of the hitch. It's a 15 sec job. Easy breezy.

Very Nice
This reminds me of a similar hitch setup someone did on their R32 years back.
Not a P-car, but interesting none-the-less: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?2077829

why did you put box at the far end of the trailer, would it be less weight on the tounge if wheels would be where trunk is now?
did you enforce rear end where hitch getting mounted?

FYI we have a thread all about tag along trailers and hitches for GT cars here- trailers and hitches. We should add yours to that thread!
