My Panigale S with Termi exhaust and chip is good for 2 lbs/HP. Not exactly a fair fight

It was not about you posting the video. I watched it earlier today as I subscribe to his YouTube channel. I was calling Chris Harris out as I thought this video was not his best. I am still a fan of his reviews. Everyone can had a bad day if you know I mean, just my personal opinion.

Motor Trend ran an article with Justin Bell in a Fiat 458 Italia and Steve Rapp in the previous Ducati, the 1198S, at Streets of Willow.
The lap time difference was just 2.5 secs, and Super Sport Bike tires are in the range of grip of DOT-R race compound tires. Grippier tires in the Italia would close the gap.
Here is the link to the article, and notice the lap time difference between the fastest road course racing bikes compared to the fastest road course racing cars.

2 things struck me as odd when watching the original video posted.
Firstly, that sure is a LOT of wheel hop every time he tries to do a burn out. I know IRS cars are hard to do burnouts with but they are doable.
Second, doesn't the car come with launch control? He never mentions it, he just says he has all of the assist off. I'm 99% sure regular GT2's come with launch control so I'm assuming the 2RS would as well, but maybe that's wrong?

But an off track excursion on the Panigale completely destroys the bike while a off track in the GT2 RS can survive and continue to drive off (maybe). See the Panigale that ate it on the track?

It is super fast, it is the full course configuration, not the short stuff that bypasses the bowl, or the even shorter that bypasses the entire North section.
At my last time trials there with the 997.1 GT3 RS I ran a 1:24 flat, good for 1st place and 4th overall with almost 100 cars registered for the time trials. A well driven 996 GT3 Cup ran 1:21, and fastest time went to Marthy with a 1:20. We ran the full course that day.

I have never run the shorter course...and wasn't even aware this was ever done.
My best there was an "unofficial" 1:23.? without a transponder (last session of day, non timed). The 1.23 was with HLT, which had been spot on all day with the transponder. A guy in a GMG WC Gen 2 RS that day did a 1:21 (transponder).
Previously I was doing 1:25s with Hoosiers, stock suspension and not so aggressive alignment. First day out with toe links all around and new alignment, did several 1:24s and the single 1:23.
EDIT - just checked my data. By "several" 1:24s it was 3 and best was 1:23.5 (per HLT). Anyway, this is why I was thinking 1:22 isn't so fast...if I can do 1:23-1:24.

I checked my times, we ran CCW, Justin Bell ran the Italia CW. Low power cars (200Hp or less) lose around 1 second on the CW configuration, powerful cars (400Hp or more) gain around 1 second on the CW configuration, with car race weights in the 2800 lbs-3200 lbs. Cars in the middle powerband post similar times in CW and CCW at SOW.
The Italia was on MPSS tires, fast street tires but not as sticky as Hoosiers. On R6 Hoosiers, Justin could have placed the Italia in high 1:19 and low 1:20s. This is fast for a stock car except a set of sticky tires.
If it were not for the fake timer, your lap times could be fast, but you're referring to the "Clarke School of Fake Lap Times" using the iphone thingy.
1:21 in the GMG WC 3.8RS is very fast.
3.8 RS are superfast, they beat my Fiat by 7 secs at the Nurburgring, and they should beat my Fiat by 2 secs at Sebring.
