Default Engine stall test?

The Flying Lizard GT3 RSR won the GT class at the recent Canadian Motorsports Park race only to be disqualified after failing a post-race mandated "engine stall test".

What kind of test is that?

Block of air intake
Engine should stall
If it does not, then engine is getting air from another source which is against the rules

Lizard said an improperly fitted air filter was the culprit

Hmmmmm....

You would think with a pressurized air box that any air leaks would actually hinder power not help it.

...or does this not matter when you're trying to negate the effects of an air restrictor?
