Yep; I be talked with the sales manager at BHP to see if he would forward my info to the buyer (hoping he was looking at a 4.0 or something), but he thinks the owner is happy with it.

I struck out on the three PTS Guards Red ones, so this is my second choice and also difficult to find/pry loose.

I believe I met the owner at a track event earlier this year. I believe it was his first event in that car and first event ever. Judging from the goofy grin on his face all day long....I'd say he is happy with the car.

I looked at silver car at BH before he bought it, and yes it was nice. I also looked at the Riv Blue at BH before brim bought it and it made we weak in the knees it was so beautiful!

A week later I bought the green one and never looked back.....

I had an 07 997TT with standard seats that i fit very well in

I DO NOT fit in the superleggeras with the race seats.
I also dont fit in the new GT500 worth a crap because the steering wheel does not telescope.
As mentioned above, the seats could be tight, but thats an easy swap. Other than that it is awesome. I'm 6'4" 200lbs. I had 2 997s (see avatar). I could barely fit a 996, but the 997 is a dream... TONS of room. I moved my seat forward like 8" and had my seat way upright... wheel in the chest, and I still had inches above my helmet!

That may be the most beautiful RS I've ever seen!!! Go for it.

I've been doing the research on the buckets. Which ones should I get? The GT2 foldable? I think I am going to need the alacantra inserts, but they look expensive for just that material. Thoughts?

Yes, those (GT2) are referred to as the "Sports Buckets", and you are correct, my understanding is that "aftermarket" (i.e not installed at the factory) you are looking at an additional $3k+ on the price of the OEM seat for those inserts... although there are a number of sources that can re-cover for less.

p.s ... you might try and find someone with a Boxster Spyder that (stupidly) wants to swap out their seats as I recall the buckets in those had the inserts

The color is sweet and resale is holding on these things really well, at least until 2014RS is unleashed.

Is the paint worth the 10-15k extra?

YES

the car is a looker! you wont regret it.
u will fit
