Chatted with Gavin today regarding the auto-blipper - super nice informative guy. Unit is push-rod based, hidden from sight for those with interiors. Adjustable to provide a percentage of throttle during the shift sequence. Great conversation and I highly recommend if you are considering this route to chat him up first. Lots of good insight about the system (pros and cons), system wear, and wear mitigation recommendations.

As I stated before, I got the SQS with auto-blipper from Gavin and truly enjoy this feature. It's fully adjustable but it is definitely mechanical.
You can over accentuate the downshift blip if one pushes the shifter to hard.
With each downshift you should pump the clutch.
All in all it's a blast and am definitely enjoying it.
The only minimal drawback is street driving b/c you have to go thru each gear when come to a stop light.
Champion Motorsport put the gear # digital ready out on the steering column for easy viewing.
