Brake Pad squeals. Anyone got a fix?
Stock yellow pads, stock rotors and they squeal like a little piggie. I don't know if changing them out is going to solve the issue as other pads are only going to be more track oriented.
Anyone solve this issue or is it something that we just live with.

Pagid Yellows???? They will squeal (all race/track pads do)....after you track them they will be OK for a few miles then squeal again. Anti-Squeal shims don't help with track pads, neither does any type of backing paste/grease.
If you're going to street drive for a while just swap back to street pads...that's what I have to do. I don't track int he summer heat so I use street stock pads then...plus they stop better when cold anyway...and they during my heavy track month I might leave the track pads in and just deal with the noise.

Never had any issue with swapping stock Porsche pads with Pagid yellow or blacks...only think is the fist few street stops are not as grabby as the stock pads should be but after a hour of driving around town... or finding a deserted country road for a some hard threshold stops....new material is on the rotors and no issues.

i found this out when i pulled the yellow pads from my second GT3RS only to learn i was on stockers after a season of track! (Bernie @ Bullet Racing school me on it )
Because they were yellow i just assumed they were track pads installed from the previous owner... and they squealed when cold like track pads but alas, i tracked them often so they had no chance of normal life...
