Default New FIKSE Centerlock wheels! Rennlist specials!

Pacific Western Performance is proud to introduce the new Fikse centerlock wheel offerings. All of the Fikse wheel styles are available now in centerlock application. This particular wheel in the picture (that PWP had done) is part of the new "Contour" series. The Contour series is a new forging profile available in all of the Fikse designs.

The Contour line feartures I-beam shaped spokes and a cross section designed for maximum strength in racing applications. But, it is perfect for the street as well.

The wheel in the pic is a "Contour 13". Which is a Profil 13 design in the new Contour forging with I-beam spoke detail. The Contour line is available as centerlock or standard 5-lug configurations.

Let us know if we can set you up with a new set of Fikse wheels... Classic, Profil or Contour, in 5-lug or Centerlock. We are also local to the Fikse factory and use the same finishers they do, so custom finishing is no problem for Pacific Western Performance.

Wonder if and what part of the center lock failures are wheel mount point issues?

Could be part of the problem but I think it's not.

I know a guy whose CL splines always bind, to the point of needing to take a hammer to them to release, with an aftermarket wheel set - never with stock.

I dunno what this means.

I'd say it means that for some reason, his wheels are losing tension and engaging the secondary locking mechanism.... Not a good sign, I wouldn't think... What wheels?

HRE, not sure what type. With all the recent CL drama, he is scared to death to use them on the track.

Already had that happen a couple of times too. Weird thing is that the wheels are correctly torqued to 600Nm!
