There is a small chance that I might be able to get into a 4.0 if can sell my RS before the 4.0 is sold. Due to this possibility, I am thinking of selling my 2011 black/gold GT3RS. The vehicle is listed here:

I will be taking some extra pictures soon and will post them here.
I actually have a BMW M5 with Dinan stroker - that car has not been dynoed but has somewhere between 611 and 650 hp with gobs of torque throughout. I used to think that I would drive the RS rarely because its just not daily driver material. I admit, I have not driven the M5 in weeks and rarely take it out these days forcing me to rack up 6500 miles on the rs in just 5-6 months (I got it in December while I was vacationing).
Anyway, it would be nice to get into the 4.0, although I keep asking myself what is it that I am missing in the RS that I will get with 4.0? Not really after the exclusivity, just driving pleasure.

Yup, I'm with ya ^^. Great car but has a lot of stuff I wouldn't need. Could be in the market at the right price though.

Thanks for the feedback. The dealership is willing to offer me 140K for the car (partly because I know they would like to sell it for 155K or thereabouts because of the options). I figured I'd give private sale a shot first hopefully saving someone some dough in sale price and sales tax. I just really rather have someone here who is an enthusiast benefit from the price rather than the dealership.

140k for a 3.8RS on trade-in when the same dealer is tagging the 4.0RS $50k over sticker is not a good deal. It is the same as offering $90k on trade-in for the 3.8RS and selling the 4.0RS at MSRP, and the dealership is already making $25k on the 4.0RS at MSRP before other profits.
