Default Using AC blows fuse

Hi Chaps,

Niggle with the GT3. Went to use the AC recently - and it blows the 15A fuse.

Strange thing is, replace the fuse and the heater controls all work fine, hit the aircon switch and this is fine also UNTIL, the engine is started.

If you operate the AC with engine running, the fuse blows.

Posche are scratching their heads. They reckon the AC compressor is ok. They've changed the blower motor resistor pack but the fault is still there.

Anyone else had this issue? A seach on the web didn't really yield anything

All sorted.

Someone previously had changed the AC compressor relay - and had fitted a Bosch relay.

This was the fault. A genuine, correct Porsche relay and we're blowing ice cold again :-)
