997.1 GT3RS Brake Change?
OK, I have searched and found conflicting information. I have a .1 RS and would like to convert from PCCB to steel rotors. Anyone out there done this yet? What are the options? Any feedback? Or should I just keep the ceramics and change the stock pads at 50%
Anyone with actual experience, I would love some feedback. Thanks.

PFC or AP rotors for the front. For AP rotors, contact JWE (Jerry Woods Enterprises) or TRG. For rear, just use .2RS stock rotors, with cooling ducts.
I run this exact setup, and love it.

The above mentioned options and additionally brembo and giro disc make replacements
I have the brembo type III on all 4 corners
Edit: they look like this

Giro disc does not have front rotors ready. According to them, they need a car to test on. For the Brembo, can you just chage rotors? If so does anyone have part numbers? Thanks.

Hand brake works
Just change rotors
Note that kit cost includes a set of pads
I don't have part numbers but any reputable vendor can provide them
I bought mine at Speedware in Redmond WA (ask for Kelly)
Pretty sure sharkwerks sells them
You may be able to get part numbers off the racetechnologies website (USA distributor) or the vivid racing website

www.racetechnologies.com for part numbers -- you can search by vehicle and make sure you select "pccb equipped"

I would be curious to hear about their longevity compared to PFC rotors...
I have usually found that the price of the brembos scares people away so they never get good direct comparisons. In my experience the brembos have worn great... so initial price is all relative to service life so to speak... I am pleased. I am told I would be more pleased with the lower priced giros as they cost less and last just as long.
I have been using brembo type IIIs since 2006 -- so can I take "pioneer" credit? :-)

Brakes
I have decided to go the Performance Friction route. I am going with the PFC floating rotors in the front and the Girodisc floating rotors in the rear so I do not loose the parking brake. I am also going to go with the PFC 08 pads all around. From all of my resarch this seems like a good setup. I did an event last weekend on the PCCB's and just did not like the feel at the top end of the braking force. The pads also wear unevenly. I have an event next weekend so I will report back. Hopefully I will be happy.

Offset is slightly different, you will have to shave one of the pads
Brembo/ Giro is nice, but require a special pagid cut pad.......pagid sucks so not worth it.
AP or PFC, AP is true floater.....PFC is floater you can secure
