Just curious about this event to see what the feedback is with HOD in Florida??
I have run with HOD in other events on the west coast and they appear to be top notch.
I was going to do this event last year with Rezoom, I think, but it was cancelled.

I have done a few events with HOD here in Florida, these guys are very friendly and they normally run a three groups format alternating 1/2 hour each, you normally have a lot of track time!!!
It is worth mentioning that Daytona is a great track and also that can be a bit intimidating the first time around, some time guys are not paying enough attention to high speed traffic, so be careful,... also make sure to bring very good tires, make sure they will be safe for the high loads that the banking provides.
other than that it is a blast!!

I have been going to a lot of HOD event in florida, homestead and palm beach.
Good:
Lots of track time, good crowd in attendance.
They don't do debriefing
Mixted:
They don't check the cars so it could be a potential problem, but overall I think all attendee are quite responsible
Bad:
Corner workers are not very sharp and they rarely give flag for dangerous or slow drivers. But other organizers are not that much better anyways.
I have a friend who attended Daytona and he was very pleased with his experience and told me the daytona track is a must do.

Pretty sure the HOD event is in conjunction with the Audi Club. As for their tech it is like most FL groups in you are responsible for your car as very few groups now require outside tech.
Corner workers are track supplied so you get what the track supplies.
Henry FL HOD head is a good guy and doesn't overload the track.

Their website says 2 hours per day on the track, which in 3 days 6 hours at daytona, bring it on. I have done the Roval at California Speedway so I am really looking forward to this.
Tire choice will be an issue. I am thinking just running the sport cups.

I like running Daytona...like Trakcar says you need to run less camber...some guys don't change camber and have issues especially with the inside of the right side tire. Also you run more psi on right side than left side...this was per Hoosier and Michelin tire techs at the track.

There will be a handful of audi's there but you would think it's a PCA event. Great time and I highly recommend it.

Watch till the end, it ends just like you think it will.
