Default I thought my detailer was going to hug me

I set him loose on the car after 5 track days and a 10 hour trip to barber, with zero cleaning during that period. Before I gave him the keys, I handed him a bottle of G3.

Let's just say he was going home after he was done to order a case for himself. He said it probably saved him two hours over the usual cleaning time. While I take really good of the car mechanically, I'm terrible about cleaning it.

He suggested keeping a bottle in the trailer with a mf rag and one of those bug/tar sponges to use between sessions to keep the rubber and track mung to a minimum. I'm not sure if I'll do it or not (that's what I'm paying him for), but it's nice to know there's an easy way to clean this garbage off with no effort.

Sorry. R3. I knew it was something like that.

I picked it up online for like $6 a bottle. Fantastic product and even leaves some sort of wax like film behind.

Mothers R3 is an amazing product.

The rubber marks literally wipe off with zero pressure.

Nice choice in color. That's what a porsche should look like. Well that or orange or euro trash green.

I have been using Meguiars cleaner/wax on the racecar for years. Cleans off rubber and waxes in one shot. Perfect for that .01 sec per lap improvement while looking good too.

Trust me it looks like crap on a black car too! Still waiting for my R3 to arrive!

Would love to know of a Canadian supplier for this. I looked everywhere but couldn't find it.

In fairness I found this info in another thread. Just thought it was so good it deserved its own spot.

I can confirm this works as advertised, and I found it online for like $5.50 a bottle. Threw the box away already so I don't remember from where. Randy's using it too.

Don't know. Probably. It takes rubber off so I assume it would work on l bugs too. Haven't tested it yet though.
