So...am I the only one using ProSpeed 683 racing brake fluid on this forum?

I saw it being used at Sebring, Daytona 24hr and St. Pete Indy race....it has to be good. I've not had any issues with it for the 2 years I've been using it.

I believe this was a combination of the pads and the fluid. I noticed the biggest difference going from the Pagids to the PFC's. The Endless fluid however does seem to hold up better in the long run as compared to the Motul 600 I was using before.

I noticed a big difference in rear pad wear after installing the 997.2 rear brake ducts. I never had fade or boiled fluid without the ducts, but my wear rate was really high before the cooling ducts.

I ran Castrol SRF strictly for 8 years, in the last 8 years I tested some of the newer stuff (RBF660 and AP) and stayed with SRF. RF650 is the only fluid that made me quit my loyal SRF, and the one time SRF let me down, I had the chance to test RF650 at the same track, similar temperature with even more stress on the braking system, and 1 day apart.

I'm paranoid, so I flush my entire system 3-5 times a year, and bleed every 2 track days, my Motiv Powe Bleeder is part of my tools to carry to any track day.

You can't go wrong with RF650 or SRF. Dealer's stock fluid, that's trouble.

Good advice. I bleed my brakes every track day, flush every three months or 6 track days, whichever is sooner. I find pedal consistency better with regular maintenance.

I bleed either before or right after every 2 day track weekend....I do a longer bleed...about a 1/2 bottle per bleed. Doing this I don't really have to flush the system because there is new fluid running through the system about every couple of months.

RARE are the times when a GT3 boils brake fluid....that said, I'd use Motul RBF600 - and keep it relatively fresh. RS29 pads still rocks :-)

They do, but the PFC 08's have moved the game on. I'm going to dig through the data to see what the quantifiable differences are in braking performance layered on top of the more subjective things like pedal feel, release, initial stopping power, etc. Again, I've loved Pagids for a long time and they've served me well, but I'm now a PFC 08 convert!

Yep I see less and less Pagid at the track and more and more PFC and Cobalt pads...DE and at the ALMS and Rolex races I've attended.

Craig, is Pagid working on anything new to stay in the game?
