Trakcar The Second Built thread
So here are the first pictures from the Trakcar .2 build.
We will update as soon as the progress starts early next week.
Right now the car is completely stock with 810 miles on the clock.
We will make sure the car gets the full treatment. First stage is already defined and the next steps will follow. Those are already also defined, but only available once done
Thank you
************07.06.2012 UPDATES*************
Car is on the lift and we started to strip it down, so we can have the roll bar powder coated white, red seat belts replaced for black ones, red door pulls coming out and black ones in, black harness.
Bumper, wing end plates and mirrors will be painted silver.
Rear bumper is off, so we can install the Akrapovic carbon fiber accent, and also side muffler delete exhaust system.
New brake ducts will be incorporated on the front bumper.

What? Trakcar sells 3.8RS for $120k. Buys 3.8RS for $150k (taxes, ppi, reg, license fee, etc). Adds another $40k on upgrades. Total cost $190k.
Trakcar is right, still $50k cheaper than a 4.0RS, and faster once the $40k on mods have been put to good use (lightening, re-gear, headers, tune, suspension).

Once I found out I called my architect to come ove rfor round two of renovating my house....have a pile of money to spend that would have been spent on a 4.0

Congrats Peter, glad you've made a decision with pending mods
Whatever you have planned I'm sure will be great.
I will give you a piece of advise.
DO NOT do anything I'm doing because according to the expert Mr. NJ-GT my build will be a POS. So as a fragile feeble little old man I'm worried.
Sure wouldn't want to see you make the same mistake.
