I don't know about understated but certainly unadulterated. Wow.

I would do irrational things to obtain that vehicle.

Silver is my least favorite and after seeing it on a 4.0 I can honestly say any color will do work fine for me!

I'm a big fan of GT Silver and could go on for days about it......

.....but really what is special about this 4.0 RS, besides its beautiful silver paint, is the sticker package delete, it makes the car extra clean and classic.

Cheers!

Two more images of this RS 4.0 in 'colour to sample' GT Silver...

Owner was aiming to create the most understated and discreet 911 997 GT3 RS 4.0 to date.

beautiful car but like others, just a tad too tame for me. Black or gunmetal wheels would be just the thing to wake it up

Absolutely love it. The best looking factory painted RS 4.0L so far posted on these forums. What makes it special isn't that it is GT silver, which is a nice color, it is that you don't have those ugly paint stripes on the front bumper or the red on the lower mirror wings that just looks awkward (example, see the blue one above...see what I mean...). It sucks that if you order paint to sample, they are still painted even if you do a graphics delete. I really proud someone deviated so well from the typical poser paint jobs and graphics you typically see on these cars.

I've always liked GT Silver ever since I first saw it on the 40th Jahre edition. It is simple, sharp and modern. I like it so much, when I repainted my 79' Silver Metallic I went GT Silver:
