Default FS: Track-Prepped 2010 997.2 GT3RS - USD$120K FIRM

LISTING LINK

After much deliberation, I've decided to entertain the sale for my 997.2 GT3 RS (just realized I forgot "RS" in the title) I bought that I have not yet seen or driven yet. $120K FIRM.

Yes, this was TRAKCAR's 997.2 GT3 RS. I am looking forward to enjoying it in Florida mid-June. The car will be available for transport and ownership change June 18th, 2011.

Here is the perfect opportunity to own a very well-taken-care-of, perfectly maintained, track-prepped 997.2 GT3 RS at the right price.

If it does not sell, I will make arrangements to import it to Vancouver. TIA

Was perusing this listing in the for sale section before I saw this post. Thought I recognized it by the description, until I saw "TRAKCAR" listed on the PDI form and the pics. :P

Good luck with the sale, or the import.

Stephen,

You are selling a car before you drives it. No wonder you are so successful in your business. You are well ahead of everyone in thinking.

BTW, make sure we get together for car talks before you relocate.

Wow, what if you drive it and realize you don't want to sell it

I bet that's going to be the case! That's what got me to buy this car: seller's regret on my 997.2 GT3. After going to a trackday with the new owner, I showed him the lines in his car in the afternoon after driving the wife's grocery getter, and I was on a mission after that.

I fully realized prior to puchasing the RS that I was going to use it for a max window of 2-3 months if I did import it. I havent had the time to coordinate this, but am quite elated to be able to drive x3 of the FL tracks, meet Peter and other RLers, and have it for a vacation with the wife.

Selling the car saves me the hassel of importing. However, I won't get to take it to local tracks and roads in Vancouver. Always a tradeoff. Either way, I knew this was going to be a short term purchase. Trying to hedge and secure an inevitable exit plan.

Since FFaust mentioned it on the listing thread, I have already let Peter know that arrangements can be made for Mancation if he doesn't find a 4.0 in time. Nothing worse than seeing a person held hostage due to time constraint. It's an open offer to Peter.

Tim - lol! I get emotional about cars not like investments. I think I've studied enough to almost be called a "doctor"

This car is fast, it only knows how to go Flatout

It is sitting at Orbit, fresh everything!
I just put on new PFC08 pads, rotors all around and all oils changed.

I am pretty sure this car becomes unlisted on June 9th at abround noon LOL.

If Peter doesn't buy it back, you should import it in to Canada and try to keep it for a year or two. Then we could talk... seriously.

Why not keep it in Seattle or even in Blaine? Be able to drive it most anytime without the import hassle.
