Will be sticking with my GT3, but with a few cheater mods...until new RS comes out or 4.0 price drops a bit.

Ask me next week, I'm sure I'll tell you something else.

Love watching Chris play with cars! He "helped" me buy my M3, then a GT3, and now he keeps playing with his RS 4.0....

Must stop watching...

I think the new C63BS and M3GTS are very capable cars, the 4.0RS only put 3 seconds on them, so these two Sedans are very close to the level of performance in the standard 3.8 GT3.

Sadly, M3 is not coming to U.S., but the C63BS with the Aerokit is a very nice daily driver that can be tracked, price is a little crazy though.

wasn't the GTS slower/same as CSL around the ring?

I LOVE and HATE Mr Harris, primarily because he has the car and job I want...

N Wales/Anglesea look great in winter!

I read that and it doesn't make sense.

I had a 08 M3 DCT, and that car was quite capable on twisty roads, not GT3 fast, but still plenty fast. At Laguna Seca, the M3 lapped in 1:42 with the crappy narrow PS2 (a tire that offers low grip), the 2007 GT3 lapped in 1:39.5 with MPSC tires.

The GTS is lighter than the standard M3 I had, it has wider tires on a track compound, it has Aero help, and the stronger 4.4L engine rather than the 4.0 I had. The GTS should be massively faster than the E46CSL.

There is a video of super talented Leh Keen at Roebling Road with a E92 M3 manual tranny, doing 1:17s, as fast as the guys are running there with a 3.8 GT3 RS.

I'm in love with the M3 GTS, but even if they could bring it here, two things are wrong: the sky rocket high price, and the lack of rear seats. The E92 M3 has been my favorite daily driver. Fortunately, cars like the GTS give some tuning tips to the current M3 owners.

I enjoyed watching the video. Great job, Chris!

It was also fun to keep hearing him calling himself his nakename/callsign 'Monkey' throughout the video

Regards,

That Anglesea track is spectacular. Reminds me of Philip Island, but better.

I wish tracks like Sears and Laguna happened to have less dismal settings. Sadly all left coast tracks are dust bowls hidden away in a quarry or duck hunting country far away from civilization.

Ha, Thunderhill.

At least you get a nice view from a few corners at LS and SP, but what a cool thing it would be to see the ocean...

Yes - what a beautiful setting for a circuit! Nothing like that over here.

Hey CGT, so you got to drive PI as well back in the day? Any track that is better than PI has got to be mind blowing! Would love to drive this Anglesea track one day....
