Car is being sold to Isringhausen in Chicago. I believe they had a buyer all lined up but I think the buyer may have backed out so if someone here wants to purchase the car with the backing of a dealer, give Jeff a call there at 217-725-2022 and he'll help you out. They've been great to deal with. Very honest and upstanding.

So I talked to Jeff and explained that I was in the middle of negotiations with John when they bought the car and I was still very interested. He called me back with the discounted price of 129.9. I reminded him that he wouldn't even have to touch the car. I could even arrange shipping direct. I expect them to make a few grand, but 10? Wow. Oh well, I won't be doing business with them.
IMHO, the 997.2 might well be the best car made in Porsche since the 993 series.
The 991 may go the way of 996...........
