First question. How do you fit a 335 on a narrow body car?

Question Two. You're saying that for every set of rear ra1's, you go through two front sets of nt01's??? If I'm understanding you correctly, that's odd.

Why would you get rid of a perfectly good .2GT3 for a .2RS With all it's problems ie. Exploding clutch and poorly shifting gear box. Clark has proven that a well driven .2GT3 is as fast or faster than a.2RS and IMHO the .2GT3 looks better especially in Guards Red.

It's an RS. Faster, wider, better, keeps value better, comes with what you need on track std. And on and on I can go.

Just means the driver needs work not the car. Hoosiers are cheaper than another car and you may be faster but not a better drover.

Hoosiers is my not so secret secret for a fast GT3.

I have an RS now too and the RS is faster.

As for the RS problems, I blew the pressure plate at my second DE in the RS a few weeks ago and Porsche fixed it all for free with 4.0 parts, so no more worries. Heading to NJMP on Monday!!!!

I do not believe the RS gearing is always faster......sometimes you are leaving a corner in 3rd gear where a non RS is in 2nd

put the RS in 2 and shift to 3 with the car having a load on either rear tire and it wont shift

Maybe it is the dynamic mounts, not sure but a 2-3 shift in a RS under side load is impossible without grinding the box

they were shaved to half tread. nt01 were full tread. now fronts are less than half treaqd, rears are close to about of third of full tread.

so, anyway, what is the manufacturing date on those 200 RA1 tires you mentioned?

Agree. I'm fast in the GT3, but I regret not getting an RS right from the beginning. Maybe I will wait for the right 4.0 to come around.

Clarke on Hoosiers is faster than Reter on RA1. Juan and John on slicks are faster than Reter on RA1.

But, once everybody is on RA1, Trakcar is the king, and everybody else shows how really slow they are.

Upgrading from a .2 GT3 to a .2 GT3 RS is worth every penny, the current price difference is small, and you get:

- Massive rear downforce
- LWFW
- another 100rpm and an extra 15Hp
- the wonderful short R&P gear
- the Carbon GT2 seats included for free
- the dynamic engine mounts for free
- a titanium rear center muffler
- wider front and rear track, and wider front wheels
- the beauty of a wide body 911
- ability to run fat tires
- and 8 seconds (an eternity) faster lap times around the Nurburgring
