Nice car. Am also looking at the SW bypass, but really have to hear one in the flesh to know if I want to go that way...

My 2010 GT3 arrived today! Very excited. I've had many porsche's over the years and favor the air cooled stuff. I still have an 88 Targa. I have to say the GT3 is by far the best ever. Finally a Porsche which sounds like it should in stock form with performance very similar to a Turbo.

Specs:
Porsche certified, 2,700 miles, Black/Black, full leather, Adaptive Sport Seats, PCM 3.0/extended nav, Crest in headrest, PCCB brakes, heated seats, dynamic engine mounts, front axle lift system, sound package plus, dynamic cornering lights, bluetooth phone interface, sport chrono plus.

Some first impressions and a couple of embedded questions:

1. Love how it sounds. Wish it was slightly louder. I have a Scuderia which is very loud but I would love to increase the volume a bit. Would that be handled by the Sharkworks bypass or does that make it serious loud?

2. Performance is very good. What do folks think about the chip upgrade from EVOM? I assume a change like that would void the certified warranty?

3. Seats are great and the the interior is excellent. I really like all the alcantara. Seats are great. Good combination of support and comfort.

4. Love the ride height and having the lift system. The car is properly low but can easily get over speed bumps with the lift system. Perfect combo.

5. Really like the short crisp shifting. I miss not having a manual with the Scuderia so this is a welcome change.

Thanks!
BEST color ever - BLACK on BLACK!!!!!!

I have RSS X-pipe. The sound is awesome. Not too loud, just right. FYI - I am taking it off because I want the big mufflers out of the fenders and putting the stock rear muffler back on - this is for weight savings on the track, not sound. Wish I didn't have to do this...

Now get that car on a track where it belongs!!!!

My next car is going to be a Fiat. I have been researching the Scud for some time. How do you like yours? You own the best cars on the planet IHO.

Thanks. I'm a big fan of both cars. Both are striking to look at and seriously fast. Both have ceramic brakes but seems like the GT3 brakes are better. I am a track novice and plan to change that in the coming years. I have been told the brakes on the Scuderia will tear my face off when they are properly broken in. I dont get to drive either very often and consider myself lucky to have them.

BTW - not sure what fiats you are considering but be sure to look at a 360 CS. My brother has a 430 Spider which is also amazing.

Congratulations on the new GT3! That is a beautiful ride. Plus another one on the Sharkwerks bypass pipe. I installed mine 3 weeks ago. Really like it.
