First in line, $250 refundable deposit. $10k non-refunable due when the allocation arrives. They used to get $5k but got burned a few times. It doesn't matter how much they want once they have an allocation. Been on the list since last summer. First gt3/RS right of refusal .

'are you a dealer'

Lol. No

I'm an enthusiast - and wanted some market info.
I stopped by a local dealer last week - he wouldn't take a deposit until they have more info on the new car.

He said after they get the info- it's first come-first served, with 10percent down.

Seems pretty high, and I figured you guys would know of better deals. 500 down is a no brainer, just need to find the right dealer I guess.

Thx all

It helps to have a prior relationship with a dealer with stuff like this. If you came in cold off the street it doesn't surprise me that you got the brush off; the guy is probably going to protect his repeat customers. Not saying I agree with what he said, but it's no surprise. Hope you can find someplace that is more cooperative.

If you're talking about the 991 GT3 and GT3 RS, the title should read

"Who has deposits placed for the new 991 Carrera S with the GT3 and GT3RS option packages?"
