Default Cup lip attachment problems?

How do you guys attach the cup lip spoiler to the 2010/11 GT3RS? There are two pre-drilled holes on the cup lip, but they don't line up to anything on the RS.

Did you guys just drill another hole?

Pre-drilled holes at each end? There should be screws that tie throgh lower rear edge of bumper cover, fender lip, and spoiler. Otherwise, everything else is press fit.

Nope, just 2 holes for the rear edge. Doesn't line up with anything

doesn't your original lip have similar holes and screws to attach it under either fender lip?

not that it helps, but the NB GT3 has holes/screws at either end of the front spoiler lip... I guess the RS is different!

given that the RS lip remains in place in the absence of any screws I dont see why the cup lip wont also ... although you might use some double sided tape just to make sure

RS is the same.

In terms of lining up, note that the screws are going through plastic parts and if your original screws are missing or you've removed them then the plastic parts likely shifted and the alignment of the holes might not be obvious. I tried installing mine with car on the ground but was too frustrating tying align parts. Threw it on a lift and everything aligned easily.

There's also a screw clip if memory serves and you'll want to make sure that hasn't disappeared.

Peter: You need a photo from underneath to be of any help here. This is just a thinly veiled excuse to show cheater parts.

My .2 lip doesn't feel 100% either. I'm going to drill another hole and run a zip tie through it.

here take a look. it seems like I may have thrown out a clip accidentally? BUT, it would have no where to screw it onto anyway.
